It is a custom in our school that the student of class 9th big farewell to the outgoing student of class 10th. They make this day as much memorable as they can. They arrange a party feast and bear all its expenses. They do their best to make this function a success.

This year 23 February wasy my last day at school. The function was started by the student of class ninth. They started reading the poem, they sing songs and made speeches suited to the occasion. Our class in charge got up. He made a speech that moves our hearts.

Last, of all, the headmaster rose in his seat there were clapping on all sides. The principle made a brief but beautiful speech. After the speech, the Grand tea party took place. There was a lot of fun at 3:00 p.m we were photographed and this was the last item of the function. We leave school with a mixed feeling of joy and sorrow.

School is a sacred place. It educates the young people. In the storehouse of my memories, my last day at school occupies a prominent position. I cannot forget the day when I left the school.
School is a place where we spend ten golden years of our life. Those happy day, the lectures and the punishment an memories school is a place where we form many associations. I also remember my last day at school. It was a pleasant day of ’23rd march’. But it was a gloomy day for me and my classmate.
My friends and I were aware of the grim reality that we were about to leave the School forever.  We never entertained that a day would come to separate us like that some of us were so emotional that they could not control themselves and started weeping some had tears in their eyes, but they controlled themselves.
We decided to depart in the same joyful mood, as we had been there for last ten years. First of all we planned to meet our teacher. We obtained the auto groups in our diaries. Then we had a round of school to see every nook and corner of it. I went to my own class. My mind flew back about the noisy classes. School canteen was full of life as usual. Then I walked to library I had look on the countless books. Which I could not read. I had tears in my eyes and I remembered the lines. Then we met our headmaster who gave us our character certificates. He advised us to be honest and hardworking in life.
He also advised,

” Being honest never harms anyone but being a liar only hurts you.”

In the evening, we got ready to go to our home. It was the time to say good by to each other. We embraced each other for the last time. Some of us could not control themselves and began to weep bitterly. Finally, we departed with the hope that we would meet again someday, somewhere. This is how I spent my last day at school.

School is a sacred place. It educates the young people. It is the place where concrete foundations of a nation are laid down. Apparently, it imparts education, nearly secretly it grooms the young generation for life and its weighty responsibilities.
Students spend a substantial part of their live in their schools. It is says that,

Wherefore the students love their schools like their hones. It is says that,

Student develop an emotional association with their school. As well in schools students live like a family and it is difficult for them to separate from each other. Anyhow a day comes, they have to leave the school and all its charms. It is the time of real sadness for them. They pass this ordeal with great patience.
